Through the Texas Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program, a credit worth 25 percent of the eligible rehabilitation costs for the project could be received with a minimum project investment of $5,000. This program could be paired with the Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentive Program, providing an additional 20 percent tax credit for rehabilitation.
